This policy is consistent with the requirements of the Workplace Health & Safety Act Qld and
AS/NZS:4801 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
Policy Background
The expected outcome of this policy is that Outsource Personnel Pty Ltd will meet the objective of
continual improvement in workplace health and safety performance, and effectively control hazards
and manage risk.
Policy Statement
Outsource Personnel Pty Ltd is committed to the principle that all occupational injuries and illnesses
can be avoided by:

• Complying with all State and Federal legal requirements to maintain a safe and healthy
  working environment.
• Educating, training and motivating Employees and Contract Personnel to conduct all activities

in a safe and responsible manner. .

• Working to meet all Integrated Management System requirements.
• Assessing and controlling workplace hazards to reduce the level of associated risk.
• Assessing and promoting new and improved techniques and technologies that support a safe
  and healthy workplace.
• Developing, monitoring and reviewing objectives, targets, indicators and performance
  measures.
• Promoting the health and safety of all Outsource Personnel Pty Ltd Employees and Contract
  Personnel.
• Providing adequate resources to continually improve workplace health and safety
  performance.

Achieving best practice workplace health and safety management within any workplace
requires continuing effort and commitment from everyone.
Directors - Accountable for workplace health and safety outcomes.
Managers - Ensure high standards of workplace health and safety within their areas of control.
Employees & Contract Staff - Follow all directives and safety procedures, participate in training and
risk management, and not put at risk their own health and safety or that of another person.
